About the founder, Erin Miroglio
I am a credentialed education specialist with thirteen years of professional teaching experience. My career began with teaching students with learning disabilities and collaborating closely with general education teachers. For the last eight years, I coached over 50 different homeschool families through a charter school. I helped parents find the right curriculum for their style and student needs, implement lesson plans in their homes, and track progress.
I’m very good at troubleshooting solutions for the myriad of challenges that arise during home education and in life: motivation, behavior, organization, domestic management, mother burnout, sibling rivalry, toddlers and babies, and more. I’m familiar with a variety of curricula and homeschooling styles, and I’ve encountered every type of homeschooling family.
More importantly, I, myself, am a homeschooling mother of seven children. My journey as mother-teacher introduced me to the truths of classical education, Charlotte Mason philosophy, and liturgical living. For the past eight years, I’ve seen first hand how intentional application of these timeless principles leads to a thriving, rich family life where parents and children grow in wisdom and virtue, together.
Charlotte Mason famously coined the motto, “Education is an Atmosphere, a Discipline, and a Life.”
